The Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in the hotel’s restaurants, bars, lounges, or beach areas. This role ensures a high level of guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations when required.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar promptly.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring correct presentation and portioning.
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints professionally.
Operations
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
  • Ensure that all areas are clean, well‑organized, and ready for service.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Upselling & Sales
  • Suggestively sell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Inform guests about promotions, events, and specialty dishes.
Team Collaboration
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
  • Assist colleagues during busy hours to maintain smooth operations.
Cash Handling
  • Process guest bills accurately and handle payments according to hotel standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; F&B training is an advantage.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
