Job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Foreman to lead and supervise structural works in a major bridge construction project in Dubai. The candidate will oversee the execution of key structural elements ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, safety standards and the construction schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all structural activities onsite including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, pre/posttensioning, erection of girders and deck slab construction.

• Interpret structural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on site.

• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors and crew members to ensure smooth workflow and daily task allocation.

• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project quality standards and structural integrity.

• Plan and manage the use of manpower, equipment and materials required for structural activities.

• Ensure adherence to RTA Dubai Municipality and project‑specific safety and construction standards.

• Identify any deviations or issues and report them to the site engineer or construction manager with suggested corrective actions.

• Maintain daily site records including work progress, material usage, labor deployment and site incidents.

• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers are aware of site safety protocols.

• Monitor the proper curing and finishing of concrete works and ensure safe removal of formwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or trade certification in structural or construction disciplines.

• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience as a structural foreman with at least 3 years on bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC.

• Strong hands‑on experience in bridge substructure and superstructure works including pier caps, pile caps, abutments, box girders and cast‑in‑situ elements.

• Familiar with structural construction techniques and material specifications.

• Proficient in interpreting structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS) and method statements.

• Good knowledge of construction safety practices.

• Capable of leading teams of skilled and unskilled laborers.

• Effective communication and organizational skills.
