Introduction

  • Morgan Export & Agency Finance ("EAF") is a team of professionals within Trade & Working Capital focused on structuring and arranging structured debt solutions tailored to meet clients' unique financing needs. We operate on a collaborative global platform, partnering with export credit agencies ("ECAs"), multilateral agencies ("MLAs"), and development finance institutions ("DFIs") to provide financing solutions that include credit enhancements or direct lending from these agencies. ECAs are government-established entities promoting national exports, while DFIs and MLAs are public institutions with economic development missions.

Job Summary

The Vice President in the Export and Agency Finance Middle East, North Africa, Türkiye, and CIS ("MENA") team within Trade and Working Capital will be responsible for originating and executing EAF MENA transactions, managing MENA-based Agency programs, and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to support Morgan's EAF franchise globally. Your responsibilities include origination and execution of Agency-supported financing with MENAT clients and MENA-based Agencies supporting transactions worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the deal lifecycle, from origination to execution and transition to portfolio management.
  2. Support senior transaction professionals in advancing transaction deal processes globally.
  3. Assist in preparing marketing materials, pricing models, internal deal memos, and execution documentation.
  4. Apply deal structuring considerations, including cash-flow-based financial modeling.
  5. Manage internal systems and processes, produce pipeline reports, and provide analytics for senior management.
  6. Ensure compliance with JPMorgan's internal policies and contribute to content development for thought leadership.
  7. Build and leverage internal networks across various departments and with external partners as appropriate.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in cross-border debt financing, particularly with MENA deal experience and relevant EAF experience.
  • Proven ability in originating, structuring, and executing Agency-supported financings.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Strong business communication and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of Morgan's risk management policies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze and compare alternative financing structures.
  • Relationship management skills with internal and external clients, along with leadership qualities in deal management.
  • Knowledge of environmental, social, and governance considerations in international project financing.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Understanding of corporate and project financing, including sector-specific structures like shipping and aviation, through professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Morgan's internal processes, including credit, environmental, and compliance procedures.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Arabic or Turkish language skills are advantageous.
