Role Overview

The Event & SDP Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination and execution of all regional events, ensuring exceptional quality and flawless delivery in line with the Maison’s standards.

The role also oversees all POSM planning and regional VM execution, as well as store design planning and maintenance for all the regional network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Event planning, coordination and execution
    • Develop and execute comprehensive event plans in collaboration with HQ. Manage production and logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, permits, audiovisual setup…
    • Ensure seamless execution across MEIAT markets, demonstrating strong understanding of local regulations, cultural considerations, and logistical requirements.
    • Lead and inspire internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure effective collaboration and on‑time delivery.
    • Manage and control event budgets, ensuring cost‑efficient planning. Track expenses, negotiate with suppliers, and provide financial reporting to management.
    • Ensure all events reflect the Maison’s prestige, aesthetic codes, and elevated client experience standards.
  2. Visual Merchandising
    • Implement global VM guidelines across all MEIAT boutiques and POS, ensuring full alignment with the Maison’s identity, aesthetic codes, and priorities.
    • Develop and communicate VM directives to retail teams, ensuring consistency and brand execution.
    • Manage POSM planning, sourcing, production, and deployment (permanent and temporary), ensuring quality, cost‑efficiency, and timely availability.
    • Manage POSM inventory: monitor stock levels, replenishment, storage, and clearance.
    • Optimize window displays, and zoning to maximize collections’ desirability and visibility.
    • Support VM training for retail and wholesale teams to ensure understanding and application of VM standards.
    • Monitor VM KPIs and provide recommendations.
  3. Store Design Planning
    • Assist MD and regional team on meetings, negotiations, to assess technical and Capex information related to the projects.
    • Prepare briefing documents on openings or renovations for HQ on projects.
    • Manage the relationship with partners on the project: Malls / Landlords / Partners…
    • Support HQ lead with supervising all aspects of day‑to‑day management of construction projects along with the local architect.
    • On‑going projects’ Capex review aligned with HQ (monthly closing and final project closing).
    • Work, coordinate and gather the necessary information for the projects in cooperation with all departments involved in a store opening and store day‑to‑day life: Retail / Wholesale / Finance / Legal / Operations / Real Estate / etc.
    • Bidding results coordination with procurement (documentation for appointed supplier, POs…)
    • Oversee the respect of the timetable for certain phases of the project: purchase orders (deliverables including brand supplied items), opening and maintenance.
    • Direct orders placed by HQ but local follow‑up on orders dispatch, shipping, budget, payment and delivery to the POS on time.
    • Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contract and quality control; check the correct process of payment and resolution of litigations.
    • Support HQ on supervising work performed by construction firms to ensure brand requirements are met (quality of materials, finishing etc…)
    • Implementation of all the CX experiences in‑store openings aligned with central tools.
    • Final handover boutique visits (especially for EBs): snags audit and follow‑up with suppliers.
    • Organize the interventions of planned and reactive maintenance including regular control, ensuring that the quality of the store is within the standards of the HQ guidelines.
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment when needed (windows, screens etc…).
    • Coordinate with the local RICHEMONT Security Departments to ensure the comfort, well‑being and safety of company personnel and clients.
    • Follow up and monitor the realization of scheduled maintenance annual contracts.
    • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with solution and repairs.
    • Visit the stores every month and make the reporting of activities.

Team Management

  • Direct report: One Executive reporting to this role.
  • Indirect management of external agencies and suppliers.
Profile & Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role for a luxury brand, managing significant event and CAPEX, S&D and OPEX budgets.
  • Proven experience in multi‑market event execution and visual merchandising implementation.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail trends, client behavior, and market dynamics in the GCC.
