A leading engineering consultancy in Dubai seeks a Sales Engineer to drive business opportunities in the EV market. The role involves client relationship management, preparing technical submissions, and developing sales strategies. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and excellent communication skills. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in expanding our client's EV’s market footprint by managing client relationships, developing commercial opportunities, and preparing tenders, technical submissions, and portal registrations.
This role bridges the gap between technical expertise and business development, ensuring clients receive reliable, cost-effective EV charging solutions tailored to their needs.
Identify, qualify, and close business opportunities across B2B, B2C, and B2G segments.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets and revenue goals.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical demonstrations.
Build long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, and governmental clients.
Prepare and manage tender documentation, technical and commercial proposals, and BOQs.
Coordinate all portal registrations with public and private sector entities.
Review tender requirements, ensuring compliance with specifications and submission timelines.
Liaise with technical and engineering teams for accurate and competitive offers.
Understand client needs and provide tailored EV charging solutions.
Support pre-sales and post-sales technical processes, including site visits, design proposals, and installation coordination.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing movements within the EV and renewable energy sectors.
Provide feedback to management on customer requirements and product improvements.
Maintain CRM records and prepare regular reports on leads, quotations, and performance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in technical sales, tendering, or business development (preferably in EV charging, energy, or electromechanical solutions).
Proven experience preparing tenders and technical submissions for government and private projects.
Familiarity with online tender portals and registration systems in the UAE.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
UAE Driving License required.
