Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for the South Africa market based in Dubai to drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition. You will build relationships with prospective enterprise customers, identify and close opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding.

The role requires 7+ years in field sales, a track record of $1M+ ARR quotas, and executive-level relationship skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field sales experience preferred, with emphasis on data or cloud-related tech.
• 5+ years of industry-focused experience generating net-new business and acquiring enterprise logos in META region, specifically South Africa.
• Proven ability to independently prospect, develop, and close new client relationships.
• Experience achieving a quota of $1M+ ARR per year.
• Strong track record of prospecting, pipeline generation, and quota achievement.
• Executive-level relationship-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the allocated territory, with a focus on prospecting and winning new customers.
• Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts on a quarterly and yearly basis with a defined territory plan.
• Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Be the trusted advisor to prospective customers by understanding their IT roadmap to drive Snowflake solutions.
• Qualify prospects and develop new opportunities and revenue streams.
• Arrange and conduct initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to close.
• Support newly acquired customers to ensure a successful onboarding experience.
• Use a solution-based approach to selling and manage complex sales processes.
