Job summary

A prominent hospitality chain in Dubai seeks an experienced Engineering Shift Leader to oversee maintenance and engineering tasks during shifts. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and efficiency of equipment, and handle preventive and corrective maintenance. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with familiarity in hospitality operations. This full-time position does not support remote work and requires a commitment to working shifts and weekends.

• Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance staff during assigned shifts.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, maintenance logs, and handover notes.
• Analyze problems and formulate plans to complete work with quality.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Shift Leader to lead maintenance and engineering activities during assigned shifts.

• Lead and supervise engineering and maintenance staff during assigned shifts
• Ensure plant equipment operates safely efficiently and reliably
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate shift reports maintenance logs and handover notes
• Recommends improvements in methods systems and procedures to improve efficiency
• Analyze problems and formulate plans to get work done quickly with a high degree of quality.
• Train coach and support team members to improve performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 02 years experience in the position is preferred
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred
• Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts weekends and on-call if required
