Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a proactive Retail Store Supervisor to oversee daily shop floor activities in Dubai. This role blends sales leadership, customer relationship management, and operations to ensure a welcoming retail environment and achievement of KPIs.

The successful candidate will drive brand standards, manage inventory, and guide the team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining presentation and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of fashion and beauty products and trends.
• Experience with retail operations, inventory, cash handling.
• Proficient with retail systems and POS processes.

Responsibilities

• Support sales associates in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships through effective use of available clienteling tools.
• Encourage a customer-focused approach across the team to strengthen client engagement and loyalty.
• Ensure team members maintain comprehensive product knowledge and communicate product features confidently.
• Assist store management in achieving business objectives, sales targets, and operational initiatives.
• Support reporting, sales analysis, and product training activities to improve team performance.
• Promote consistent service standards that reflect the brand's values and customer experience expectations.
• Coordinate daily shop floor activities to maintain efficient operations and effective customer service.
• Monitor floor coverage and ensure sufficient staff presence during peak trading periods.
• Demonstrate strong selling techniques and act as a role model for sales associates.
• Provide guidance and assistance during customer interactions and the selling process.
• Support team members in resolving sales-related challenges and delivering a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain communication between the sales team and store management to support daily business priorities.
• Demonstrate a strong leadership presence and maintain high standards of personal performance.
• Guide the team in understanding store sales plans, individual sales goals, and performance indicators.
• Communicate sales priorities and support employees in achieving their objectives.
• Act as a liaison between staff and management regarding operational matters and performance concerns.
• Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency and propose practical action plans.
• Support implementation of daily process improvements and store organization.
• Encourage teamwork, accountability, and a proactive approach to customer service.
• Handle customer complaints, exchanges, and inquiries professionally and effectively.
• Represent the brand through professional conduct, product knowledge, and consistent service quality.
• Promote the brand's culture, standards, and product expertise throughout daily store activities.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are maintained.
• Monitor the shop floor to support a clean, organized, and attractive shopping environment.
