Job summary

Westin Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Marina is seeking a Non-Management, full-time Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across hotel facilities.

You will inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems, maintain tool inventories, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect and test equipment, identify and operate shut-offs, and requisition parts as needed.
• Keep maintenance inventory, document daily activities, and coordinate with shifts.
• Follow safety policies and use Lockout/Tagout where required.
