Job summary

Marriott International in Dubai is seeking a non-management Facilities Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks. You will inspect systems, carry tools, and communicate daily activities to shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a driver’s license, and some maintenance experience; hotel engineering background is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position at Al Thowima Street, Dubai.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines; operate shut-offs for equipment and buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
