Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment.

The role requires ability to operate tools, identify shut-offs, and follow safety procedures while maintaining inventory and communicating daily activities across shifts. The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or GED and some experience in maintenance, with hotel engineering experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines; carry equipment and parts as needed.
• Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and electrical components.
• Document daily activities and communicate with other shifts.
