Job summary

Westin in Dubai is seeking a detailed hotel maintenance technician. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and mechanical room equipment, and visually inspect systems to ensure safety and reliability.

You will operate shut-offs, service plumbing and electrical components, and perform painting and surface prep. A Driver’s License is required, with prior hotel engineering experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect, test, and repair equipment including electrical, plumbing and HVAC components.
• Program TVs and perform housekeeping and inventory tasks.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain safety standards.
