Job summary

Marriott Executive Apartments in Dubai seeks a Non-Management, full-time Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel facilities. You will communicate with guests, inspect and operate shut-offs, and maintain inventory while following safety policies.

You will handle painting, basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing tasks and minor repairs, including TV programming and basic housekeeping inventory.

Qualifications

Some experience in general maintenance and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
Inspect equipment and locate shut-offs; operate building shut-offs.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts.
Document daily activities and issues to other shifts.
Display knowledge in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, energy conservation.
Perform painting, drywall repairs, bulb and filter replacement, and area cleanup.
Test and troubleshoot equipment and plumbing, electrical components.
Program TVs and handle housekeeping and inventory duties.
Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures; ensure safety.
Move and lift objects up to 50 pounds; climb stairs.
