Job summary

The St. Regis in Dubai is seeking a facilities technician to respond to guest repair requests and conduct preventive maintenance across guest rooms and building systems. You will communicate daily activities and ensure safe operations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing equipment, maintaining inventory, using Lockout/Tagout, and supporting housekeeping and engineering teams to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect tools and equipment; identify shut-offs for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other guestroom items.
