Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience is LEED would be beneficial.
  • Previous working experience in the region preferable in Saudia Arabia.

Job Description

Overview

As a Design Manager - Infrastructure you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process through the project lifecycle. Work closely with our clients design consultants and other stakeholders to ensure the projects objectives are met in line with our client requirements and expectations. You will assist the Programme Director/Design Director or Senior Project Manager in ensuring that our scope of works is delivered to AtkinsRéalis and clients expectations.

Your role
  • Lead program-level design management across all disciplines (wet utilities dry utilities roads landscape).
  • Knowledge of Abu Dhabi local authorities standards (ADM ADQCC TAQA SWS TRANSCO etc..).
  • Manage design consultants supervision consultants and contractors for execution and delivery.
  • Oversee all utilities and its integration with all other services.
  • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi standards and manage stake holders to secure NOCs/approvals.
  • Knowledge in utility corridors and ROWs for multi-utility integration.
  • Tender process management - review tender documents (scope specs BoQs).
  • Manage clarifications evaluations (technical & commercial) and award recommendations.
  • Monitor construction interface shop drawings and design-to-site continuity.
  • Coordinate and manage handover: as-builts GIS data O&M manuals and authority acceptance.
  • previous PMC experience in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of authority standards and NOC processes.
  • Experience in tendering evaluation and contract award.
  • Familiarity with BIM and GIS systems.
  • Technical problem-solving skills.
