About the Hotel

InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen section (hot, cold, grill, etc.) and ensure it runs smoothly during service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard, following recipes, plating guidelines, and portion control.
  • Assist in the creation and development of new menu items, offering ideas that reflect current trends and guest preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in your section, following HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, especially during busy service times.
  • Train and guide Commis Chefs sharing knowledge and ensuring consistency in quality and techniques.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
  • Ensure all equipment in your section is maintained and report any malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications and Experience
