About the Role

RSA Logistics is looking for a Demand Planner to manage the full demand‑planning cycle for a key client. This role is a bridge between the client and our internal operations—ideal for someone strong with numbers, analytical tools, and client coordination.

This position is perfect for someone who has solid foundations in planning and wants to grow into a broader supply chain role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts using trends, seasonality, and client inputs.
• Analyse SKU behaviour, stock movements, consumption patterns, and order cycles.
• Track and improve forecast accuracy over time.
• Identify risks: stockouts, slow‑moving SKUs, demand spikes.
• Coordinate closely with warehousing teams for capacity and inventory alignment.

Client Management

• Serve as the daily point of contact for the assigned client.
• Participate in weekly review meetings and share data‑backed updates.
• Manage expectations on inventory levels, replenishment, and operational constraints.
• Escalate key issues with clarity and timeliness.

Replenishment & Inventory Control

• Prepare replenishment recommendations and coordinate PO issuance with the client.
• Monitor inbound shipments, delivery timelines, and supplier constraints.
• Maintain accurate SKU master data and ensure system cleanliness.
• Support cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.

Reporting & Data Management

• Produce weekly/monthly dashboards (forecast vs. actual, stock cover, ageing).
• Maintain planning trackers and internal sheets for transparency.
• Provide ad‑hoc analyses to support operational and commercial decisions.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers.

• Confident with client communication (but not overly senior).

• Reliable and steady under pressure.
• Experience in procurement or replenishment is a plus.
• Exposure to ERP/WMS/TMS systems.

• Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).
