Job summary

TÜV SÜD is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Data Centers to drive growth across the Middle East by selling data center certification, testing, commissioning, assessment and advisory services. The role identifies new business opportunities, builds strategic customer relationships and delivers technically sound, commercially viable solutions.

You will work with internal teams through the sales and project cycle to support market development, customer retention and expansion of our data center

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development or project-related commercial roles.
• Proven experience in selling technical services, preferably data center QA/QC, assessments and advisory, testing and commissioning, or certification services.
• Experience working with data center owners, hyperscalers, colocation providers, consultants, contractors or system integrators is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of data center infrastructure, including electrical power, cooling, BMS, fire protection and redundancy concepts.
• Familiarity with data center standards and frameworks such as TIA-942, ISO/IEC 22237 and ISO/IEC 27001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets for data center services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with data center owners, hyperscalers, colocation providers, consultants and contractors.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, tenders, presentations and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Translate customer requirements into QA/QC, assessment, advisory, certification, testing and commissioning solutions.
• Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to define scope, timelines and resources.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the service portfolio.
