Job summary

Westin is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee cooks and kitchen staff in our Abu Dhabi property. You will ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnishes, and coordinate with F&B service to communicate specials and stock needs.

You will monitor food quality, maintain safety logs, and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and garnish of food.
• Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food; maintain logs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching.
