In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critically ill children in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Your leadership and expertise will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments, diagnostics, and management of critically ill pediatric patients
• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Delivering advanced life support and essential critical care interventions
• Communicating effectively with families about their child's condition, treatment options, and care plans
• Participating in training, mentorship, and educational programs for healthcare staff and medical trainees
• Engaging in quality improvement projects and contributing to clinical research initiatives in pediatric critical care
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards in patient care
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a pediatrics residency and fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care is mandatory
• A current and valid medical license for practice in the state
• At least 5 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care setting
• In-depth knowledge of pediatric critical care procedures and protocols
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with families and healthcare teams
