Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital is recruiting a Client Services Ambassador – Inpatient to improve patient care by efficiently handling the patient administrator role. The role focuses on scheduling, registration, insurance handling, billing, and delivering excellent patient service.

Requirements include 2–3 years in customer service, preferably healthcare, with experience in contact centres or healthcare settings. A Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in medical science or finance are preferred.

Qualifications

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital is seeking a Client Services Ambassador – Inpatient to improve the overall quality of patient care by efficiently performing all aspects of the patient administrator role.

Key Responsibilities:

• To effectively and efficiently manage the patient appointment scheduling and registration process
• To effectively and efficiently manage the medical insurance process and other related tasks
• Effectively manage the billing and cash up process
• To consistently meet customer service expectations by improving the quality of patient service

Experience Required:

• 2-3 Years’ experience in a customer services role, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Experience in a Contact Centre or Healthcare environment

Education Qualifications:

• Completed secondary school education (Grade 12)
• Tertiary Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferably within the fields of medical science, finance / accounting

Skills Required:

• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• CRM (customer relations management) software applications
• Hospital information systems
• Knowledge of company policies and emergency codes
