The Change Manager will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to improve processes through data, structured problem-solving, Kaizen, Gemba, and other continuous improvement practices. The position requires adaptability, strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving operations environment.
Change and Project Management
- Oversee the Station Project Road Map and regularly report progress to the site leader.
- Coordinate site change initiatives and project management activities.
- Ensure timely completion of the Peak Readiness Playbook.
- Provide required readiness inputs to the Network Control Manager.
- Apply structured project management methods with close attention to detail.
- Coordinate implementation of new systems and processes.
- Provide day-to-day support during rollouts and gather operational feedback.
- Map business requirements and evaluate existing business processes and workflows.
- Develop practical solutions that address operational requirements without compromising quality or core functionality.
Continuous Improvement
- Build and support a continuous improvement culture through regular Kaizen, Gemba, and related activities.
- Monitor operational metrics and investigate performance issues to identify root causes.
- Use performance data to determine where processes can be improved.
- Apply lean techniques and structured problem-solving to operational challenges.
- Identify simple and practical approaches to complex problems.
- Communicate improvement opportunities to business and technical stakeholders.
- Support implementation of approved process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
Delivery Station Support
The Change Manager will contribute to the day-to-day management of the Delivery Station while supporting Shift Managers, Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, and Delivery Service Providers. The role also involves managing relationships and performance with external agencies, coordinating site activities, and helping operational teams maintain effective execution during periods of changing demand.
Site Readiness and Resources
- Support fixed cost and procurement activities associated with site operations.
- Ensure associates have the appropriate tools required to perform their work.
- Use relevant software and hardware tools to support normal daily operations.
- Coordinate repair or replacement of operational equipment when required.
- Support readiness activities for peak operating periods.
- Communicate daily performance metrics and report operational exceptions.
- Coordinate special site activities including visits, Town Halls, and training events.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor 's degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon blue badge-FTE experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- 2 years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
