Role Context

The Area Manager supports daily shift operations by leading teams, improving workflow performance, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently achieved. This role helps maintain safe and productive operations by balancing team leadership, performance analysis, and process improvements across a busy logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and employee wellbeing across all operational shifts
• Monitor team productivity and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and performance standards
• Lead and support shift teams while handling administrative and operational responsibilities
• Build a positive team culture through coaching, communication, and performance support
• Analyze operational performance and recommend process improvements to improve customer service and efficiency
• Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes across departments
• Manage routine operational tasks, escalations, and contingency planning for daily site activities
• Review business metrics and performance reports to support decision‑making and planning
• Work with engineers and technical teams to evaluate operational improvements and system changes
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet delivery targets and business goals

Ideal Profile

• Completed university degree before start date or graduated within the last 24 months
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Ability to prepare accurate, clear, and professional written communication
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability in fast‑paced environments
• Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups preferred
• Experience managing workforce teams in logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, engineering, or production environments is an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
• SQL knowledge in a professional environment is an added advantage
