Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks an experienced FMCG professional to enhance trade/shopper marketing efforts. The position demands over 7 years in FMCG, solid understanding of GotoMarket strategies, and exceptional communication abilities. You will partner with sales and marketing, leading strategic initiatives and monitoring the effectiveness of in-store activities. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus, highlighting the need for cultural awareness in a diverse market.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in FMCG with a focus on trade/shopper marketing.
  • Strong understanding of GotoMarket strategies and various trade channels.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales/marketing to set targets and track sales fundamentals.
  • Develop market intelligence reports to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor instore plans and adjust for improved ROI.
  • Create category input for promotional plans and long-range growth.
  • Lead revenue management initiatives across the region.
  • Identify best practices for instore promotions and materials.

What Youll be Doing
  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to establish targets and standardize tracking of Sales Fundamentals: more stores better stores bigger impact.
  • Develop and present regular market intelligence reports generating insights to identify category growth brand and distribution opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and evaluate instore plans throughout the year adjusting activities as needed to reflect changes in the customer/brand environment and improve ROI.
  • Create the necessary category input for the longrange plan growth levers and effective promotional plans. Contribute to the overall category and pointofpurchase vision.
  • Deploy efficient toolkits focusing on detailing materials including pricing and visibility programs based on regional guidelines.
  • Lead strategic revenue management initiatives across the region.
  • Identify and roll out bestinclass executions including instore promotions and detailing materials across relevant clusters.
Who You Are
  • You bring 7 years of experience in FMCG with expertise in trade/shopper marketing.
  • You have a strong understanding of GotoMarket strategies and different trade channels.
  • You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
