Key Responsibilities

• Utilize minimally invasive surgical techniques when appropriate to improve recovery times and reduce complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive surgical care.
• Monitor patients pre‑operatively and post‑operatively, ensuring effective management of their recovery process.
• Engage in ongoing education and clinical research to stay abreast of new developments and techniques in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency followed by a Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
