Job summary

Agile Consultants in Abu Dhabi invites a Business Development Executive – Testing Laboratory to identify new business opportunities across the UAE. You will lead client acquisition and tailor testing solutions.

Responsibilities include generating leads, presenting proposals, coordinating with laboratory teams, and maintaining key accounts in food, water, environmental, and construction testing sectors. UAE market knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of business development/sales experience within a testing laboratory or related testing services.
• Previous experience selling laboratory testing services is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of the UAE laboratory testing market and potential customer segments.
• Proven ability to generate leads, approach new clients, and convert opportunities into business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to understand technical service requirements and coordinate with laboratory/technical teams.
• UAE market experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for laboratory testing and related services across the UAE.
• Generate leads and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, client visits, referrals, and market research.
• Develop business with clients across food & beverage, hospitality, manufacturing, industrial, construction, facilities management, and other sectors.
• Understand clients' testing requirements and coordinate with the lab/technical teams to provide solutions and quotations.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to promote laboratory services.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and potential projects through to closure.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reports on leads, visits, quotations, and conversions.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities and identify new sectors and potential customers.
• Coordinate internally with laboratory, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
