Job summary

Delano Dubai is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie Banquets to join our culinary team. You will work with the banquet culinary team to own your section and deliver memorable dining experiences for intimate celebrations and large events.

The role requires strong cooking skills, attention to detail, experience in banquet prep, buffets, plated service and live cooking stations. Flexibility to work varied shifts and holidays is required, and you will guide junior chefs and uphold food safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in luxury hotel banquet operations.
• Strong cooking skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with banquet prep, buffet service, plated dining & live cooking stations.
• Ability to manage your section and respond to changing event requirements.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles and allergen management.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends & public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage your assigned section ensuring food is prepared and presented to Delano standards.
• Organise mise en place according to banquet event orders, menus and production schedules.
• Prepare dishes for plated events, buffets, receptions and live cooking stations.
• Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef to ensure smooth prep and timely service.
• Maintain consistent flavour, presentation, portion sizes and food quality across each event.
• Monitor stock levels and follow correct storage and rotation procedures; report maintenance/stock issues.
