Qualifications

• Previous Commis level experience in hotel banquet operations.
• A strong foundation in food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for learning and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and organise mise en place according to banquet menus and event requirements.
• Assist with cooking, plating and buffet preparation under senior chefs.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines and presentation standards to maintain quality.
• Support food preparation for meetings, weddings and other events.
• Maintain a clean workstation and comply with food safety hygiene and allergen procedures.
• Work with colleagues to ensure smooth prep and timely service.
• Take part in training and apply feedback to develop skills.
