You'll collaborate with the banquet team, guide junior cooks, ensure food safety, and adapt to varied event schedules, including evenings and weekends. A culinary qualification is an advantage, and personality matters at Delano Dubai.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie.
• Strong cooking skills with attention to detail for high-volume service.
• Experience with banquet prep, buffet service, plated dining & live cooking stations.
• Ability to manage your section and adapt to event requirements.
• Team-oriented with ability to guide junior chefs.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, allergens.
• Clear communication and guest-focused delivery.
• Culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Personality and passion valued.

Aufgaben

• Manage your assigned section, ensuring food is prepared and presented to standards.
• Organise mise en place according to banquet orders, menus & production schedules.
• Prepare dishes for plated events, buffets, receptions & live cooking stations.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef & Junior Sous Chef for smooth prep and service.
• Maintain flavour, presentation and portion sizes across events.
• Follow recipes and support menu tastings, contributing ideas.
• Handle dietary requirements and allergens per procedures.
• Guide Demi Chefs de Partie & Commis Chefs, supporting development.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Minimise waste and ensure responsible ingredient use.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, temperature records & cleanliness.
• Keep equipment in good order and report maintenance needs.
