Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Training Manager to lead learning initiatives and develop engaging programs that align with brand standards. You will guide onboarding, design training materials, and drive continuous improvement across departments to elevate guest experiences.

Reporting to the Training Manager, you’ll coordinate schedules, audits, and development plans, while partnering with hotels and external providers to deliver impactful learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of Learning & Development or Training experience in hospitality, with supervisory or managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of training methodologies, talent development, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring brand standards and policies are understood.
• Develop training materials, guides, and visual aids to boost engagement and learning effectiveness.
• Perform Training Needs Analysis to identify gaps and recommend learning solutions.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development programs across departments.
• Support leadership development initiatives by organizing schedules, seminars, and resources for supervisors and managers.
• Maintain and enhance the Departmental Trainer program and monitor trainer effectiveness.
• Conduct training audits and coaching to reinforce standards and address learning needs.
• Identify high-potential colleagues and support succession planning and career progression.
