Job summary

Rixos Hotels Gulf in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Learning & Development Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate the L&D strategy across departments. The role collaborates with department heads to identify development needs and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

You will design and deliver training, monitor effectiveness, maintain records, and support performance management and talent development while promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Psychology, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Professional certification in L&D, HR, or talent development (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, ATD) is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, HR, or Talent Development, with supervisory or coordinating experience.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of the L&D strategy.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify development needs and coordinate training programs.
• Deliver training programs, workshops, inductions, and development initiatives.
• Monitor attendance, completion, and feedback; report findings with dashboards.
• Develop individual development plans and career development initiatives.
• Ensure training compliance with policies and Forbes training requirements.
• Support performance management and talent development processes.
• Assist with succession planning and leadership development programs.
• Engage employees through learning initiatives that boost retention and culture.
