Job description

The Assistant Engineer is responsible for planning coordinating and executing project activities in accordance with contract specifications and timelines. The role includes procurement site supervision client coordination and project close-out documentation to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Review contract documents and prepare a project activity program to meet stipulated dates and specifications.
  • Obtain material and drawing approvals and procure approved quantities to align with client requirements.
  • Prepare and obtain method statements and material approvals; manage installation activities as per contract terms.
  • Direct and control site supervisors and labor teams to ensure timely and quality installation.
  • Prepare invoices and secure payment certificates/cheques based on work progress.
  • Obtain authority approvals and submit all close-out documents to complete project handover.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline from a recognized university
  • 2 3 years of relevant project experience
  • Knowledge of project planning timely execution site team management and coordination between office and site
  • Good command of the English language
