Job Description

As a Reservations Specialist you will be working in our flagship hotel in the HUB. Passionate about guests service responsible for providing a quality end to end service for all reservations segments, often working with repeat guests and building rapport with them through their bookings.

What will I be doing?
  • Working within a team to answer all calls and emails following the brand standards
  • Provide exceptional customer services and effectively and professionally manage all reservations for guests
  • Book and manage reservations through the reservations system
  • Qualify and generate Sales Leads for the sales team to acquire new clients
  • Ensure that the system and booking documentation are accurate and up to date
  • Configure rates in Opera PMS system based
Requirements
  • Possess guest service skills and excellent communication skills
  • Detailed & Customer service orientated
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to handle multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment while remaining calm, collective and accurate
  • Able to type 25 words per minute
  • Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office Suite, CRS systems is an added advantage
  • Advanced English language
Experience
  • You will be likely to have minimum of one year experience in Reservation department of a branded hotel
  • High School Diploma preferred

Requirements
  • Strong background in MEP, preferably with experience in hotel or facility management in Qatar or GCC.
  • If not from MEP, then candidates with Electrical or Mechanical background will also be considered.
  • Better if candidate is locally available in Qatar.
  • Solid technical knowledge with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality sector or large-scale facility management projects.
  • Familiarity with Qatar’s local standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple tasks as required
