Job summary

Abdulwahed Bin Shabib Investment Group LLC in Dubai is seeking a technically competent and sales-driven Application Engineer HVAC to manage HVAC product applications while actively developing new business opportunities in the UAE market.

You will identify new customers, build relationships with MEP contractors and consultants, promote HVAC solutions including Split AC, Ducted, and VRF systems, and deliver technical proposals and tender documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC Application Engineering, Technical Sales, or HVAC Sales Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC products and systems, especially Split AC, Ducted AC, VRF/VRV.
• Hands-on experience in product selection, sizing, submittals, BOQs, and quotations.
• Proven ability to develop new customers and generate UAE HVAC/MEP opportunities.
• Existing connections with MEP contractors, consultants, developers, and industry professionals are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customer opportunities and HVAC project leads in Dubai.
• Build and maintain relationships with MEP contractors, consultants, developers, distributors, and end users.
• Promote and sell HVAC products including Split AC, Ducted AC, VRF/VRV systems.
• Visit customers and sites to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Review project specs, BOQs, drawings to determine suitable HVAC product applications.
• Perform product selection, sizing, and application calculations per project.
• Recommend suitable HVAC products and solutions per specs and customer needs.
• Prepare technical proposals, product selections, and tender documentation.
• Provide technical presentations and product explanations to customers and consultants.

• Perform technical product selection equipment sizing and application calculations based on project requirements
• Recommend suitable HVAC products and technical solutions in accordance with project specifications and customer requirements
• Prepare technical proposals product selections compliance statements equipment schedules and tender documentation
• Provide technical presentations and product explanations to customers consultants and contractors

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC Application Engineering, Technical Sales, or HVAC Sales Engineering
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC products and systems, particularly Split AC, Ducted AC, and VRF/VRV systems
• Hands-on experience in HVAC product selection, equipment sizing, technical submittals, BOQs, and quotations
• Proven experience in developing new customers and generating business opportunities within the UAE HVAC/MEP market
• Existing connections with MEP contractors, consultants, developers, and other industry professionals will be an advantage
