Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site HVAC Engineer to supervise installation activities across ductwork, chilled water piping, FCUs and AHUs, ensuring work aligns with drawings and specifications on a major UAE project. The role requires reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, monitoring progress, and performing site inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as Site HVAC Engineer in MEP or construction.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems including AHU, FCU, Chillers, Ventilation and Ducting.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and MEP standards.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation activities including ductwork and related equipment (AHUs FCUs, chillers).
• Review HVAC shop drawings, technical submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and other MEP disciplines.
• Ensure site works comply with drawings, specifications and local authority regulations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure project requirements.
• Coordinate testing, balancing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling on-site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
