The Hershey Company is seeking a Specialist Business Development for the Export Cluster to expand Hershey’s footprint across Africa. You will open new markets and customers, strengthen performance with regional distributors, and own the full commercial agenda in a lean, start-up-style setup.

You will manage go-to-market strategies, growth plans, and regulatory navigation while leveraging an established network across Africa.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of commercial FMCG experience with export or new-market success.
• Proven ability to open new markets and customers in Africa.
• Established network of trade and distributor contacts in Africa.

Responsabilités

• Identify, prospect, and open new customers and markets across Africa using existing networks.
• Develop go-to-market plans for markets with limited Hershey presence, from entry to running operation.
• Create and execute customer growth and joint business plans for new accounts.
• Manage and grow relationships with regional distributors handling Hershey’s export business in Africa.
• Monitor distributor performance, compliance, and route-to-market effectiveness.
• Partner with distributors to improve sales execution and in-market capability.
• Navigate import, trade, and regulatory requirements for Africa.
• Track competitive activity and market shifts to drive commercial actions.
• Ensure strong in-store execution and drive visibility, distribution, and assortment objectives.
