Job summary

Focus Infotech in Dubai, UAE, seeks an experienced NOC Engineer to support a mission-critical payment processing environment. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain high-availability payment platforms across card issuing, switching, acquiring, and gateway services to ensure reliable financial transactions in the region.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in NOC/IT operations within fintech, with hands-on expertise in monitoring tools like Zabbix, AppDynamics, Jira Service Management, AWS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years in NOC/IT Operations or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring platforms and incident management.
• Experience in fintech/payment processing environments is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain mission-critical payment processing infrastructure.
• Perform Level 1 and 2 incident triage, diagnosis, escalation and resolution.
• Correlate alerts and identify root causes during major incidents.
• Monitor card management systems, payment switches, acquiring platforms and gateway environments.
• Support incident bridge calls and coordinate recovery during outages.
• Ensure SLAs and escalation matrices are followed; manage maintenance windows.
• Prepare shift handovers, operational reports and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for business continuity and rapid resolution.
• Analyze recurring issues and suggest improvements for stability.
• Monitor infrastructure, apps, databases, and cloud platforms for risks.
• Participate in continuous service improvement within monitoring and operations.
