Bookkeeper
Job summary

- Intercompany processing and reconciliations.
- Capturing and processing weekly and monthly payroll.
- Preparing and submitting statutory returns.
- Cashflow management and bank processing.
Skills
Our client in the Northern Suburbs is looking for a reliable and presentable candidate with experience at a junior to mid-level in accounting. The ideal candidate must be well-groomed, professional and a non-smoker.
Key Responsibilities :
- Full financial processing up to balance sheet.
- Intercompany processing and reconciliations.
- Capturing and processing weekly and monthly payroll.
- Preparing and submitting statutory returns (PAYE reconciliations VAT201 EMP201 COID etc.).
- Cashflow management and bank processing (FNB).
- Conducting costing control and stock control activities.
- Supporting HR and Industrial Relations processes.
- Preparing BEE social and ethical certification documentation.
- Using advanced Excel skills (pivot table analysis complex formulas).
- Providing day-to-day IT problem-solving support.
- Performing ad hoc financial and administrative duties as required.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in financial administration up to balance sheet level.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables formulas).
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in HR support and industrial relations advantageous.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
