Job summary
A prominent cruise line is seeking a Landscape Gardener to design and maintain beautiful gardens on board their cruise ship. This role requires expertise in horticulture and strong communication skills to interact with guests. - Plan, design, and implement landscape and garden projects.
- Perform maintenance tasks like watering and pruning.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Collaborate with team members for property upkeep.

Education
- Plan, design, and implement landscape and garden projects, including selecting appropriate plants andflowers On Board Cruise Ship
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as watering, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to ensure the health and beauty of all plants
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Monitor and manage the health of plants, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall upkeep and appearance of the property
- Keep detailed records of all plantings, maintenance activities, and expenses
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in horticulture to continually improve the landscape and gardens
- Assist with special events and projects as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Horticulture, Botany, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of plants, trees, and flowers, including their care and maintenance
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their installation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for design
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests and other team members in a professional manner
- Passion for horticulture and a desire to create and maintain a beautiful environment
