The role involves engaging in technical discussions, building relationships with customers, and overseeing design solutions. We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join the Business Development Team, focusing on the Pacific Northwest, Washington State. The Field Applications Engineer will engage in technical discussions with customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Engage with product marketing, sales, and customers to quickly generate product design solutions.
- Build responsive technical relationships with our customers.
- Data analytics – market and technology research.
- General understanding of internal and vendor manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide input for product manufacturing and testing requirements.
- Interface with customers and vendors to assure conformance to customer requirements.
- Interpret customer and internal drawings and 3D files.
- Communicate conceptual designs to customers and internal manufacturing.
- Review customer documents for compliance.
- Company car, 401K, bonus, and medical plan.
- Ability to work with CAD and Pro/Engineer applications for design.
- Experience working with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- B.S. degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Field Applications Engineer or in interconnect.
- Willingness to travel.
