Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Development Program Facilitator in Gauteng. You will design, implement, and facilitate programs to empower youth with life skills, education support, and vocational guidance in the Tembisa area.

The role requires strong facilitation, youth engagement, and a deep understanding of local youth challenges. Flexible hours including evenings/weekends may be required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Youth Development, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years working directly with youth.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging educational programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging workshops on leadership, financial literacy, career readiness, and life skills for youth 15-24.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship to help participants set and reach goals.
• Collaborate with local schools and community centers to recruit participants and promote programs.
• Develop and maintain program curricula to be age-appropriate and impactful.
• Organize field trips, guest sessions and experiential learning activities.
• Monitor participant progress and prepare regular program outcome reports.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Assist in development of program evaluation tools and continuous improvement.
