Placements24 is assisting a distinguished charitable organization in Gauteng to recruit a Program Development Officer dedicated to youth empowerment in Tembisa. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing new initiatives that uplift underprivileged youth and foster skill development, education, and well-being.

The successful candidate will lead program design, build partnerships, manage budgets and donors, and mentor staff in a demanding, mission-driven environment.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program development and management.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing youth-focused programs.
• Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Budget management and grant writing experience.
• Experience working in Gauteng, particularly with Tembisa.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for youth development and social justice.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability.

• Conceptualize, design, and develop new programs and projects for youth empowerment in alignment with organizational goals.
