Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Youth Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with youth in development, mentorship, or facilitation capacity.
• Proven experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and deliver engaging youth development programs focused on life skills, education, and employability.
• Lead, train, and supervise a team of youth mentors, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
• Design curriculum and workshop materials tailored to the needs of diverse youth populations.
• Conduct regular needs assessments and evaluations to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, community centers, and other relevant organizations in Tembisa, Gauteng.
• Provide one-on-one mentoring and guidance to youth participants, addressing their personal, academic, and career aspirations.
• Organize and facilitate youth events, workshops, and field trips.
• Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
• Report on program progress, outcomes, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as a positive role model and advocate for the youth served by the organization.
