Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Dispatch Supervisor to lead a busy dispatch team at our Richards Bay facility. The role focuses on timely, accurate outbound shipments, team leadership, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.

On-site at Richards Bay, you will drive efficiency, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with transport to ensure smooth freight movements, ensuring high service levels in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in a warehouse/logistics dispatch environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing dispatch operations.
• Understanding of shipping documentation and transport logistics.
• Proficiency with WMS.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of orders.
• Lead and motivate a team of dispatch clerks and loaders, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Verify outgoing shipments against orders and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Coordinate with transportation team to schedule inbound and outbound freight.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading of vehicles, adhering to weight and space constraints.
• Maintain communication with warehouse staff, drivers, and stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures during dispatch operations.

Our client, a dynamic logistics company with significant operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Dispatch Supervisor. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate dispatch of goods from the warehouse, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational flow. You will lead a team responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, verifying orders, managing loading processes, and maintaining optimal dispatch turnaround times.
