Placements24 in Sandton seeks a skilled VoIP Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our voice communication infrastructure. You will handle installation, configuration, and ongoing support of VoIP systems, PBX, and related hardware/software to ensure reliable communications for our teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SIP, RTP, H.323, and platforms such as Cisco UC, Asterisk, or 3CX, along with solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a VoIP Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and H.323.
• Experience with Cisco UCM, Asterisk, or 3CX.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS as they relate to VoIP performance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and voice quality management.
• Familiarity with telephony concepts and voice infrastructure.
