Job summary

Alliance Foods SA (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Training Captain in the Operations Department. The role reports to the People Capability Leader and focuses on evaluating training needs in-store and creating a comprehensive training development plan with materials and resources.

The incumbent will ensure CSTMs and FSTMs are trained within deadlines, conduct observations, and complete assessments to identify knowledge gaps, driving improved operational performance across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Ability to assess knowledge gaps and measure training impact.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store orientation for new team members.
• Train, coach and certify Team Members.
• Complete training evaluations to assess knowledge retention.
• Deliver training to bridge performance gaps.
• Facilitate New Product Training as per the marketing calendar.
• Biannual assessments for all employees to reassess knowledge.
• Identify additional training needs and discuss with Training Manager and/or RGM.
• Learner assessments twice a year.
• Track and report training outcomes.
• Provide feedback to participants and management.
• Evaluate and update training materials and methodologies.
• Maintain employee training records.
