Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Trainee Manager for the East Rand region to learn overall store operations under the supervision of a store manager. You will perform a wide range of retail operational duties with guidance from an experienced supervisor.

The role offers exposure to inventory, sales floor and POS operations, customer service, HR support, and participation in the trainee program, developing essential leadership and store management skills.

Qualificações

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting, expense control and customer service.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Responsabilidades

• Manage inventory processes including goods in transit, cycle counts, stock takes, shrinkage, and stock levels.
• Support efficient stock flow from receiving to the sales floor.
• Assist with stock ordering to maintain stock levels in FMCG, Health and Beauty.
• Develop and maintain promotional stock displays and ensure labeling and pricing standards.
• Help achieve store sales targets and support promotions and cross-store knowledge sharing.
• Assist with daily cash-ups and reconciliation; monitor store expenses and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
• Support HR processes including leave management, staff records, and Kronos data entry.
• Participate in trainee program meetings, workshops, and required learning assessments for competency.
