Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Kimberley invites applications for a Trainee Manager to learn overall store operations under supervision of a store manager. You will perform a wide range of retail duties across stock management, cash, reporting and customer service.

The role includes assisting with inventory, sales floor presentation, POS operations, and supporting HR processes. Local travel and a valid license are required; a Diploma in Admin or related field is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting and customer service.
• Knowledge of retail stock control and shrinkage management is advantageous.
• Willing and able to work retail hours and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure processing of stock, stock takes, and stock levels.
• Assist with promotional stock displays and pricing standards.
• Support POS operations and cash handling.
• Assist with daily sales targets and coordination with departments.
• Support HR processes and trainee program adherence.
