Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Trainee Manager for Pretoria East to learn overall store operations under guidance of a store manager. You will perform a wide range of retail operational duties with supervision and direction from experienced staff.

Essential requirements include Matric, 1–2 years in retail management, MS Office skills, a valid driver's license, and own transport. Diploma holders will have an advantage. Market related salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12/Matric completed.
• 1-2 years’ experience in store retail management including stock, cash, reporting, and customer service.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own reliable transport.

Aufgaben

• Inventory management: process goods, stock counts, shrinkage reduction and stock levels.
• Stock flow to sales floor and assist in stock ordering for FMCG, Health and Beauty.
• Sales floor & Receiving: support labeling, pricing, displays and goods receiving.
• Point of Sale Operations & Finance: assist cash-ups, POS scheduling, and expense monitoring.
• Customer Service: handle complaints, loyalty signups, and customer feedback.
• HR Process Support: assist HR admin, leave management, Kronos data entry.
• Trainee Programme Adherence: attend workshops, complete tasks and learning assessments.
• Competencies: retail knowledge, decision making, communication, emotional intelligence, organization.
