Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Trainee Manager for the West Coast area (Langebaan & De Drift) to learn end-to-end store operations under the supervision of a store manager.

You will handle inventory, stock control, receiving, promotions, POS and cash-ups, while supporting sales targets and customer service delivery.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, 1–2 years in retail management, MS Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license and own transport; a relevant diploma is advantageous.

Competenze

• Grade 12 or matric is mandatory.
• 1–2 years’ experience in store retail management including stock, cash, reporting and customer service.
• Computer literate – MS Office; willing to work retail hours; valid driver’s license and own transport required.

Mansioni

• Manage inventory, stock control, goods-in-transit, cycle counts and stock levels.
• Assist with stock flow to the sales floor and shrinkage management; support stock ordering.
• Support sales targets; collaborate with departments to meet goals and promotions.
• Assist with POS operations, cash-ups, and expense monitoring; ensure transaction integrity and budget adherence.
• Deliver strong customer service; address complaints and feedback; promote loyalty initiatives.
• Assist HR processes, and participate in trainee programme activities and sign-off processes.
• Participate in meetings/workshops; complete learning programmes and maintain Portfolio of Evidence.
